Preludes 14: The Duelo Now Available In Soulframe Closed Alpha
The update includes the latest Fable, a new Duelo Pact, and the newest one-handed sword.
Today, Digital Extremes dropped the latest Soulframe Close Alpha update, Preludes 14: The Duelo. The update brings with it the game’s latest Fable, The Wreck of Mestra Carmo, in which a new Ancestor quest has players looking for a haunted shipwreck and fighting a “long-lost expert fencer”. Players will also be able to forge a new Pact and gain powers exclusive to pirates. There’s also a new armor set to pick up.
The new Rapier weapon comes in two forms: The Navalha and the Expadarte. Stashes can be found in the Mirifuir Castle Siege Encounter and the Fallen Ode Skytower, where players will need to fight the new Agari sub-boss, the Rovgot Wyrm. Speaking of weapons, players can also obtain the new corrupted one-handed sword Cenotaph, the sword and shield set, Lyke-Wake, and the Ode’n staff, Silistavf.
Today’s update also introduces some quality-of-life features to the free-to-play MMORPG. These include new Votive side quests at the World Tree job boards, reworks to the game’s UI and codex menu, and a new progression system.
