Soulframe Teases Preludes 14: The Duelo

The last several days have been busy for Digital Extremes, with PAX East over the weekend and the various announcements for both Warframe and their upcoming MMORPG, Soulframe. We covered Warframe earlier this week, and now we have some details on the latter game. Specifically, we now know that Preludes 14, titled “The Duelo,” is coming sometime this month. We don’t know the exact date, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough.

So, what’s in store in Preludes 14? Well, there’s the new Pact, Duelo. Duelo comes from Ancestor Carmo and introduces the ability to use a flintlock pistol. The Pact can also boost the highest Virtue stat of each party member – provided they’re in range, create a ghostly clone that fights with you, and more.

The update also introduces the rapier weapon type and reworks Orlick’s Station. Orlick’s role has been expanded with the update, introducing a new progression system.
