Prepare For A Fierce Battle In Rinascita When Wuthering Waves’ Version 2.7 Update Drops

On October 9, we’ll head back to Septimont, where a new Resonator is on her own hunt, with one of our allies in the crosshairs. Wuthering Waves' latest update will consist of three main story quests, two of which will wrap up Rover’s adventures in the region. The third, an afterstory, brings another new face to the free-to-play action RPG’s lineup.

As with previous updates, Version 2.7 introduces new quality-of-life features to the game. The first is pretty much necessary in any gacha-style game: an ascension planner. The feature will aid players in leveling not just their Resonators, but also their weapons, echos, and skills by providing them with personalized plans for all Resonators based on the player’s SOL3 phase. A journey log is also being introduced, giving players a way to keep track of what they’ve done so far.

Other improvements are being implemented to make the game more comfortable for players, such as a global filter and the “Eye Comfort” option. Think of the global filter like an image filter, while Eye Comfort allows players to adjust things on a more precise level, changing color temperature, brightness, intensity, and more. This should help with the tired eyes we all suffer while playing games.

A more aesthetic improvement is being made as well, making the world more responsive to actions from Resonators. This means that when skills are used, they’ll have a more visible impact on the world. More details are available in the stream below.
