Prepare To Take On Act 2 Of Lost Ark’s Kazeros Raid Tomorrow In "Frosty Fate"
The “Frosty Fate” update also introduces the new Karma progression system.
Lost Ark’s January update, titled “Frosty Fate”, launches tomorrow, bringing the next act of the Kazeros raid to the MMORPG. Act 2 of the 8-player raid will continue the story of the war in North Kurzan and features two gates. To attempt the raid, players will need to have an item level of 1670 for normal difficulty and 1690 for Hard.
Also included in the update is the new Karma Progression System. The system requires players to have the Ark passive engaged in order to earn combat stats and related effects. Players will also increase Karma levels and ranks once they unlock Karma.
In addition to the above, the new Frontier system will decrease difficulty for raid bosses as time goes on, allowing players taking on current content will do so at a similar difficulty to Korea while those attempting them later will have an easier time.
Finally, the update also kicks off the Third Anniversary Celebration. Get ready to head to Anniversary Island and take on new special quests. The Balthorr event raid also returns and a special anniversary gift will be sent out to players. Patch notes for the update are available in the video below.
