R2 Games Moves Kingdom Rift to Open Beta
If you're looking for something new to try out, R2 Games has just moved their new MMORPG Kingdom Rift into Open beta. This transition means that the cash shop is officially open for business and no more character wipes will occur.
Players can chose from one of three playable classes (Warrior, Hunter, and Warlock) and use skills in real time battles where positioning is said to matter. Gamers also have the chance to team up with Goddess companions who have their own sets of upgradable artifact equipment.
Visually, Kingdom Rift has some striking similarities to one of R2's other titles, Wartune. Gameplay wise, the game looks to play almost exactly like Perfect World Entertainment's War of the Immortals (and a few other games I could mention).
If you want to take it for a test spin, head over the the Kingdom Rift official site.
