A new patch went live for Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues, the fantasy MMORPG by Catnip Games that is referred to as “the spiritual successor to Ultima Online.”

Release 112 features changes in crafting, decoration, items, combat, skills, quests, and the world itself. There are several quality of life improvements, too, as well as events and login rewards for the month of May. Also, there’s a new scene called Port Harmony and newly-tameable reef spiders.

Looking forward, the team behind the game released an update on the 2023 roadmap and announced developer events. They also showed off the Great New Britannian Mapping Project. Additionally, Catnip Games revealed bug brigade and testing directives, a streamer program, and upcoming release dates.

I never knew it was, so cheers for that. its a shame they cannot get new coders in with a fresher directions for the game mechanics in SOA but anyhow well to done devs for keeping on going is all I can say. :)
