RuneScape Has Launched On Steam, OSRS To Follow Next Year
After nearly two decades, players of RuneScape on PC can finally enjoy their favorite MMORPG on Steam. RuneScape on Steam is the same game that hundreds of millions of players have known and loved through the years -- now with Steam achievements!
Cross-platform play is enabled, so you can carry over your progress from the desktop client and mobile editions to Steam. All players, regardless of platform, are encouraged to participate in the in-game launch party going on right now at Taverley Docks, to welcome the new arrivals from Steam.
You can also pick up RuneScape Orchestral soundtrack when you download the game on Steam. There are three starter packs you can purchase, as well: the basic Starter Pack for $14.99, the Standard Pack for $39.99, and the Max Pack for $129.99. Each comes with cosmetic items, Treasure Hunter Keys, and varying amounts of RuneScape membership time, among other perks.
Old School RuneScape will follow the base game onto Steam in early 2021. For more on RuneScape's launch on its new platform, check out the game's Steam page.
