Scoped: Survarium Trailer shows off PvP, Gorgeous Wasteland
Who knew an inhospitable European wasteland could look so gorgeously tranquil? Well, that is until the bullets start flying and you find yourself trying to outrun a sniper perched in one of the dilapidated buildings. Vostok Game's latest trailer for Survarium makes it pretty clear the developers understand what a proper no mans land looks like. Environments are lush, with overgrown vegetation and plenty of cover for sneaky movement.
Gameplay wise, animations look pretty stiff at times which we can only hope will improve as the Alpha continues. Beyond the standard FPS mechanics presented in the trailer, Vostok says Survarium will feature anomalies, a la Stalker, which can provide boosts to players. The closed Alpha is still ongoing with the beta slated for sometime later this year. Interested parties can still signup for the alpha here.
