Skull And Bones Has Been Delayed Yet Again, Because Of Course It Has
Another delay in a long line of delays.
Stop me if you've heard this one before. During its latest financial reports, Ubisoft has Skull and Bones now listed as arriving in the first part of 2024. Skull and Bones was of course officially revealed all the way back in 2017, but has yet to be released following a number of delays.
The most recent date given for the release of the game was the "early" part of the 2023-24 fiscal year, which now seems to be pushed back to Q4, falling sometime between January and April of 2024 according to Eurogamer.
Skull and Bones did recently have a closed beta, but there was no official release date given following the testing phase outside of the vague window.
Skull and Bones wasn't the only game to get delayed during the latest earnings report, as a mystery "large game" (which appears to be Star Wars: Outlaws) also saw its release window pushed back on the earnings report.
I will of course be holding my breath for the release of Skull and Bones in early 2024. I mean, it does have to come out sometime due to contractual obligations. There's no way they delay it yet again. Right? RIGHT?!?
