Smite Amazon Luna

It seems Hi-Rez has decided to get into cloud gaming via Amazon Luna. Today, the Luna Twitter account announced that the MOBA Smite has been added to the service’s lineup. Like Google Stadia and GeForce Now, Luna allows gamers to play games on pretty much any device ranging from PC to mobile devices. Although, older devices may not be supported.

Unlike the other two services, Luna seems to be doing the Hulu or YouTube channel packaging thing with monthly subscriptions. Currently, there are three available: Luna+ ($5.99), Ubisoft+($14.99), and Family Channel ($2.99). The Luna+ price is Early Access pricing. If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can play free through September. Smite is on Luna+.

Luna can be played with compatible controllers – or mouse and keyboard. But, don’t be shocked that they already have a branded controller of their own. It’s available to purchase for $70. Maybe just see if your own controller will work first before throwing down for something like that though. And, before anyone asks, yes of course, Luna ties into Twitch. Was there any doubt?
