SMITE Teases "World-Shaking" Reveals During World Championships This Weekend
What could it be?
SMITE is teasing something big during their "SMITE Presents" keynote speech set to kick off the SMITE World Championships this weekend. What exactly they have in store is anybody's guess at this point, but they seem to be putting a big emphasis on it.
The keynote will be streamed live this Friday, January 12th at 11:30 AM EST as the kickoff to the SMITE World Championships which takes place over the course of the weekend. This year's event is in Arlington, Texas, and will take place live in front of fans and on Twitch. I'm a little sad they don't do these in the Atlanta area anymore since that's just a few hours' drive for me and going to these events has always been a good time.
Either way I'll be watching the MOBA's championships, and they've definitely got my attention with this big announcement they've got coming. They say it is the most massive evolution SMITE has ever been through. Are we talking new game engine here? I can only imagine SMITE in something like UE5. I guess we'll all find out together on Friday.
