Splitgate Is Going Pro, Partnership With Astro Gaming Kicks Off Season 1 Tournament
If you think you have what it takes, marks your calendars now.
It was only a matter of time before Splitgate, the free-to-play FPS by 1047 Games, kicked off official esports events and now the day has come. Through a partnership with Astro Gaming, Splitgate will start the first season of pro competitive play on October 17th with an open qualifier on that date and 5 more following it throughout November.
After a last chance qualifier on December 5th, the season will culminate with the finals on December 12th. Making the finals not only gives you a shot at the $100,000 prize pool ($60,000 of which is reserved for the finals) but also guarantees you a spot in future pro seasons.
All tournaments are free to enter and will be hosted on the PlayBeyond platform.
Check out the full post for all the dates and rules if you think you have a shot and joining the Splitgate pro teams.
