Square Enix Drops Stream Schedule For Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival In London
The event will be streamed on Twitch both days.
The London Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival is scheduled to take place on October 21 and 22. This morning, the XIV team posted the full schedule on the Lodestone, beginning with the MMORPG's keynote address and ending with The Primals concert.
The keynote will kick off at 2:00 a.m. Pacific time on October 21. As with the presentation in Las Vegas, it will be in English and Japanese. We should probably expect to hear a bit more about the next expansion – although we’d imagine not a whole lot more, but maybe the first new job reveal? The expansion is still a good bit away and there’s one other Fan Fest event after this one. Once the keynote comes to a close, it will immediately be followed by the Opening Ceremony – and then roll into the various panels of the day. The first day will end with a Piano Performance. That part will not be streamed.
The second day of the event will also start at 2:00 a.m. Pacific, beginning with “A Stroll with Yoshi-P” featuring Hironobu Sakaguchi as a special guest (possible 24-person raid designer??). After that, the bulk of the day will be taken up with the Crystalline Conflict Regional Championship, followed by the cosplay competition, and a game show. The whole thing comes to an end with The Primals concert. Again, the concert won’t be streamed.
