Survarium Adds A Little Color In New Paintball Mode Added In Today's Update
Things are about to get colorful in Vostok Games' post-apocalyptic shooter Survarium. The company dropped a new update for the game today, version 0.66, adding some new content (a lot of decals), mode changes, and updates to weapons and equipment. The biggest addition to the game is the new "Paintball" mode. This is a team deathmatch in which players use blue or red (depending on the team) paintball markers in combat. Take out the opposing team, and you've won. This new mode can temporarily be found under the PvP and Create Custom Match tabs. It has no bots, so bring your team and fight it out in one of three maps: School, Tarakanovsky, and Vostok Radar Station.
Speaking of modes, both Team Deathmatch and Slaughter have received some love. For instance, resurrection points are dictated by the number of players in a match. Players can now end a match prematurely with a difference between team points being 40 for 12-15 players and 30 for 8-11 players. In addition, the amount of points on various maps has been limited as well and resurrection points are only subtracted when a player dies. Bots do not count.
As mentioned, there are weapon and equipment changes. These are your general buffs and nerfs, and can be perused on the Survarium blog.
