TennoCon 2023: Digital Extremes Shows Off Over 30 Mnutes Of Soulframe Gameplay
The combat looks pretty beefy.

While we’re all used to TennoCon focusing specifically… well… on the game it was built around, this year’s was also the place to get a peek at the upcoming action MMORPG Soulframe in action. The thing is, it’s about 30 minutes of gameplay, and it shows off not just the combat, but some of the lore as well. If you’re the kind who likes to avoid spoilers, maybe skip this one.
If you don’t mind spoilers, then settle in for 30 minutes of information. The devs don’t just play through, they explain how things will work. This includes the game’s ancestor system and how you can take them to a special place and create a village using them. They’re also used to customize the player’s skills.
They don’t take long to get in and give players a look at a dungeon. It seems like they’re showing off a point further in, past the starting stuff. The dungeon demo is co-op, so you’ll be able to see how that works as well. Interestingly, it looks like the game has a very minimal HUD, so it’s a bit difficult to tell what the button layout is like, but the abilities look pretty cool.
