TennoCon 2023

This weekend, Digital Extremes held the annual gathering for all things Warframe, TennoCon 2023. During the event, the developer made several announcements regarding new Warframes, Warframe skins, new cinematic quests, and more coming to the looter shooter. Two new Heirloom Collection versions of Meg and Frost have been introduced to celebrate their 10th anniversary since being introduced. They can be used on the base Warframes and their Prime variants.

In addition, Digital Extremes also teased the game’s 54th Warframe, Abyss of Dagath. Players can find out about Dagath from the Entrati Grandmother. In addition to bringing a new Blade and Whip weapon to the game, Dagath will also introduce some quality-of-life upgrades, including a Hydroid Rework.

Story-wise, players can look forward to the Whispers in the Walls later this year. The story drops players in the middle of a war between Albrech Entrati and the Man in the Wall. It takes place in Albrecht Entrati’s secret laboratory and players will need to use a Grimoire in order to survive it. The story also introduces a new faction created by the Man in the Wall and expands on the Necramech faction.

A second bit of story content was teased – Warframe 1999. This content also centers on Albrech Entrati and his past action in the Origin System. Players will be able to find out more about his history through the story.

On the tech side, Warframe is coming to iOS in 2024. Prior to that, cross-platform save will be added sometime before the end of the year. That means that when the iOS version comes out players will be able to take their Mastery, Rank, Focus, and everything else with them on the go.
