PlayStation, Switch, and mobile players in Sky, the F2P MMO from thatgamecompany, have known about the beauty that is exploring the world of Sky: Chlidren of the Light since 2019. PC players, however, not so much.

In kind of a category of its own MMO-wise, Sky presents players with an extremely artistic world to explore, which isn't surprising when you remember that the company behind the game also made "Journey" and "Flower."

How you explore this world is entirely up to you and the friends you take with you or make in game. While we don't have an exact date for release, thatgamecompany has announced that the game will come to Steam and you can wishlist the title right now.

Sky will even include cross-progression if you've already started exploring but want to do so on PC at launch.

“Sky represents our vision of how games can unite people from different backgrounds, cultures and continents,” said Jenova Chen, CEO and creative director, thatgamecompany. “As Sky moves to PC, we can render its realms in stunning detail, but for us, Sky is not defined solely by its technology - it’s an invitation to dream, explore and unite with one another in what we feel is the very essence of human connection in the digital age. The beauty of this world, the depth of its characters and the magic of its storytelling have created a community that extends far beyond the game itself. By introducing this to a new audience, we welcome players of all experience levels as they come together to experience something truly special.”
