Raiders and conquerors seeking a new realm to pillage should be excited to hear that Ubisoft’s new MMORPG, The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, is moving forward toward release. The great kingdom of Opulencia and it’s hundreds of castles ready for the raiding will be entering open beta this February 25th.

Right alongside the emergence into Open Beta comes the official debut of the bard-like female character known as The Runaway. Wielding a musical, hard-hitting axe like a rock-star viking, this mid-range melee attacker packs one of the most powerful punches, and should make a a great contribution to the game play, as well as the female player base.

So get a head start on building a fortune and plundering others in The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot late this February.

Michael Dunaway has been part of the MMOBomb team for years and has covered practically every major Free-to-Play title since 2009. In addition to contributing First Look videos and news articles, Michael also serves as the Community Manager for the upcoming MMORPG, Skyforge.

  1. It’s a lot of fun for an hour or two, then you realize it’s horrendously pay to win and if you don’t pay you WILL NOT EVER be able to penetrate those who do pay.

I’d go so far as to say paying for closed beta was one of my biggest regrets of the past decade. Giving money to this game should be considered a sin in the gaming world.

  2. This game is really fun and the 2 people that they allow you to have is all you need, seems like a great game, they only turn off is if your no good at TD and go cry that its P2W when it isn’t.

  3. Oh, What ? Feb 25th ? No thnx..
I plan to start playing the new “Dominion” League of Path of Exhile which starts on Feb 23rd, No other game for me ! 😀

  4. Iv’e heard a lot of people complain that the game is pay-to-win (Even TB said so in one of the videos if I remember correctly).

Did they fix that, or is the game still p2w?

  5. Finally! After all this time… it finally is going to go Open Beta!I’ve been waiting for a year now! 😀 I really can’t wait. 🙂

  6. i played closed beta 2 days ago, you need to buy mage character ))))) its locked and game is SHIT, i deleted it and never gonna download it again )

  7. Hopefully the new character isn’t something I need to pay real money for to give it a try. If its in game gold on the other hand, then that’s awesome, if not that sucks.

      • This might be true for the asian part of Ubisoft , But this game is from the studio based in Montreal , canada ( in other word the best game developper of ubisoft , the same studio who made Prince of persia , Far cry and Assassin creed . They deserve more respect

          • Sry, but you’re clearly the one that is ignorant and uninformed.

Ubisoft Montreal is a video game studio. Go look on their web page if you don’t believe me. They are paid to develop the game itself.

Ubisoft is the publisher and parent company of Ubisoft Monteal. As a video game publisher, they have full control over the creative rights and funding. They have the power to make all the important business decisions, including but not limited to the business model of an F2P game.

Trenix’s comment that “Ubisoft is slowly becoming the new EA” was obviously referring to Ubisoft, the publisher, and not to Ubisoft Montreal, the studio. You’re either mixing the two up, or you’re naive and you think Ubisoft Montreal self-publishes it’s own games independently.
