Get Spooky With Friends As The Outlast Trials Launches In Early Access
The new game features everything players love about Outlast games in addition to the new content.
Today, Red Barrels kicked off early access for The Outlast Trials on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. Available for $30, The Outlast Trials promises the main features of a classic Outlast game in addition to new environments, trials, challenges, and more. It also boasts a seasonal program.
In The Outlast Trials, players must take part in an experimental program conceived by the shadow corporation, Murkoff. Players – or Regents – must survive physical and mental trials. They’ll face iconic characters from the Outlast IP, and can do so alone or as part of a team.
As this is early Access, Red Barrels is still looking for feedback from players – something you might want to keep in mind before dropping cash – in order to improve the game before the official launch. The dev team also notes that they’ll continue working on the game until they “feel [it] delivers [their] initial vision.
