There's A New Dungeons & Dragons Survival Game Headed To PC And Console
D&D meets real-time survival.
Developer Gameloft Montreal announced today that it has put together a licensing deal with Wizards of the Coast to produce a Dungeons & Dragons survival game. The game will be set in the Forgotten Realms and, according to the developer, will bring "unique cooperative gameplay built around an innovative hybrid of survival, life simulation and action RPG".
While the project hasn't officially unveiled a name yet, the developers of the D&D survival game promise a campaign of resilience, camaraderie, and danger at every turn in a game where the Dungeons & Dragons franchise meets real-time survival.
Gameloft Montreal is known for its games Disney Dreamlight Valley, LEGO Star Wars Castaways, and the Dungeon Hunter series.
“We are honored to partner with Wizards of the Coast to deliver a completely new experience in the Dungeons & Dragons universe,” said Lee Kaburis, Executive Producer at Gameloft Montreal. “We are all big fans of D&D and are already hard at work bringing our concept to life, including growing our team, and we look forward to sharing more details in the future.”
