Things Get Festive In Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis’s Winter Event
Snow and Rappies in festive winter outfits…what more could you want?
Winter has arrived in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and that means seasonal challenges for players to take on while enjoying the snow and looking out for Nord Rappies, who are apparently smart enough to dress for the season. As is always the case with NGS events, Central City will be decorated in an appropriate theme. Activities can be found in the Retem and Aelio regions of the game.
These event activities include both daily and weekly tasks assigned by Xiandy in Retem City. Some will award special avatar items and points can be traded to Xiandy for even more goodies. Rewards include a new winter Mag form; the STP: Rappy – Snowfriends, and a Tiger Cape, among others. It shouldn’t be too difficult to earn these items, as seasonal enemies will show up in most sectors of both the event regions. They’ll be marked, so they’re easy to locate, and will also show up in two Urgent Quests in the Retem Region.
The event will kick off in just a week, on January 19 so mark your calendars and make sure you’re ready.
