This Week At Bungie Discusses Destiny 2 x Assassin's Creed Collab, New Season 19, Artifact Mods, And Weapons-Tuning
December is looking like a busy month for Destiny 2.
To kick off the first day of December, "This Week At Bungie" provides fans with a rather large summary of updates and some sneak peeks at content coming to Destiny 2. At the head of those additions is the recently-announced crossover between Destiny 2 and Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed, details on the upcoming Season 19 and artifact preview, a weapons-tuning update, and much more.
Coming December 6, Destiny 2 players can experience Season 19 and imitate the fashion of the Brotherhood with new cosmetics from the collaboration. That includes an Assassin's Creed-themed ship, Sparrow, Ghost, three armor ornament sets, and finisher cosmetics. On the flip side, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla fans can dress up in Destiny 2-styled gear, debuting new armor sets, weapons, and even a mount inspired by the world of Destiny.
Prepare to take a leap of faith, Guardians. In partnership with @Ubisoft, worlds are about to collide with brand new cosmetics.

Season 19 also brings new weapons to collect across challenging content in Iron Banner, Nightfall, and Trials of Osiris while removing old ones. For example, Aisha's Embrace Scout Rifle and Reed's Regret Linear Fusion Rifle are leaving the Trials of Osiris, replaced by Exalted Truth Suros Adaptive Hand Cannon and Unwavering Duty Suros Adaptive Machine Gun. I recommend checking out the array of weapons you can earn and will lose on the blog before December 6.
The next Season's artifact will focus on giving "a little love to Stasis." Sandbox Design Lead Rodney Thompson explained the artifact has "anti-Champion mods" for Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles, Bows, Pulse Rifles, Auto Rifles, Submachine Guns, and the returning Unstoppable Grenade Launcher mod.
Moreover, the Lucent Finisher mod is back to help players generate Heavy ammo. Thompson stated fans should expect to "see some reprisals, some reimaginings, and some more experimentation" on a few old favorites and mods aimed to improve stats like airborne effectiveness and weapon/subclass damage types.
There are some tweaks to gunplay that players will need to know about, too. The Full Auto toggle, which allows players to unload a full clip of bullets without clicking several times, comes with the Season 19 launch as a Settings option.
Bungie will be watching how participants use the feature and are "looking into additional ways for players to pick which types of weapons this setting applies to sometime after Lightfall." The devs know that certain melee weapons require a lot of speedy clicking and are also crafting a similar feature for accessibility.
