Trove’s September Community Letter Brings Block Party Update And Player Q&A
New combat features, the Healthy Food vs. Junk Food event, Twitch Drops, and response to community feedback.
In September’s Community Letter, the Trove team takes a look back at July’s 10th Anniversary Sunfest, which featured piñatas and Yabakis. August brought the return of the Elysian Knights and the Trials of Tauri — a 15-step questline that challenged players of the free-to-play MMORPG with battles, riddles, and dungeons while rewarding Sol Sigils, new Allies, Mounts, Wings, and Titles. The Close Call Competition on the PTS had players showcasing their survival skills, with winners receiving 5000 Credits and a community spotlight.
This month, the spotlight is on the Block Party update, introducing the Combat Block, Mystic Gems, and class balance changes to help melee characters shine. The Healthy Food vs. Junk Food event pits regions of Trove against each other in a playful feud, while Twitch Drops return.
The team at Trion Worlds also addressed player concerns about delays in class reworks, promising that monetization is not prioritized over gameplay improvements. Crystal 5 rings are planned for the future, and loyalty badges are being expanded (as per community feedback). Players are encouraged to submit and upvote questions on Discord for next month’s letter.
