HSR V 3 8 Launch

If you play Honkai: Star Rail and you’ve been keeping up with it, you probably remember what happened on Penacony. Sure, there were some dream shenanigans, and it might have taken us a bit longer to leave the Dream than we thought it would. But we got it all sorted out in the end, right? Right?!

Then again, there were quite a few people with the ability to mess with memories and thoughts running around. (If I’m being honest, it took me a while to believe we’d actually left Penacony the last time and that Amphoreus wasn’t just some weird part of the Dream.)

All that is to say that the Trailblazer is missing some memories, and even though we had no idea, it’s time to head back to Penacony to recover them – with the help of… Well, calling her a friend might be too much. But, she is the newest playable 5-star character in the game, a Cremator calling herself The Dalhia.

In addition to recovering our memories on Penacony, the action RPG’s Version 3.8 update also gives us an excuse to revisit Amphoreus with the Chrysos Awoo Championship or the “Chimeria World Tournament”. Players build a lineup of cute little chimera to battle against each other, earning a selection of useful rewards, including leveling items for Nihility characters. So, if you’re rolling on The Dalhia, you’ll want to take part in that.

Of course, the Gift of Odyssey event is back, offering players ten free Star Rail Special passes for logging in over a period of seven days. Other events, such as the Remnants of Twilight and Treasure Hunt, will kick off at a later date.
