Warframe The Duviri Paradox Launch Date

On April 26, Tenno playing across all platforms will find themselves trapped in a paradox, exploring Warframe’s fourth open world as a Drifter. This new content is a bit different from what’s come before in that it’s story content that is somewhat separate from the general storyline. In fact, to play through this content, players have to make a choice to play as the Drifter, rather than as their Warframe. Choosing one questline does not negate the ability to play through the other.

New players will immediately be given the option to play as one or the other. Returning players will find The Duviri Paradox quest in their codex and Duviri on their Star Chart after the update launches. Duviri is a world destroyed by the Void with floating islands. It’s ruled over by Dominus Thrax – whose emotions control the setting, changing the color of the world with his moods alone. These shifts will also affect combat, causing NPCs to behave differently.

As The Duviri Paradox features the Drifter heavily, the devs have made improvements to the experience, upgrading the melee combat system, and adding ways for players to upgrade their abilities and stats.

All players will have three game modes to choose from. The first, ‘The Circuit’, is a Warframe Only endless game mode. ‘The Duviri Experience' is an open-world adventure. And, the final one, ‘The Lone Story’ is a solo narrative experience.
