Warhammer 40K: Darktide Beta Players Will Get To Keep Their Progress At Launch
Good news for them, scary news for players just getting in.
Good news Warhammer 40K: Darktide beta testers! All that work you did during the testing period wasn’t for nothing. Well, okay, it was definitely for something. You were the last line of defense between the game’s launch and any issues that might plague it. But what was in it for you specifically? As it turns out, getting to keep your beta progress at launch is what was in it for you.
This good news came when Darktide developer Fatshark dropped a tweet over the holiday weekend letting players know that their progress from beta will carry over into full release. While the tweet doesn’t specify whether or not that includes actual in-game items, it seems likely that it would.

Prior to this, Fatshark was unwilling to commit to allowing beta testers to carry their progression over into the live game. In a sensible move, they wanted to allow for the possibility that things might need to be reset. Now, they appear to be confident this isn’t going to happen, so beta players are going to have a good time come launch.
