Wayfinder Just Dropped An Update For Fans Of Extremely Long Patch Notes
Eventide comes to town, too!
Do you love huge patch notes drops? Then boy do I have an update for you. Wayfinder has released update 0.2, and with it comes over 2,000 updates, changes, tweaks, and improvements to the game.
Obviously, I'm not going to list them all here, but let's hit the highlights. First, it should be noted that this update is a total repackaging of the Wayfinder files, so downloading and installing may take a little longer than normal. Also, note that they've stated that the game requires an SSD.
The Eventide Event is part of this update, ringing in the holidays between now and January 12th. During the event you can take part in holiday quests and complete dozens of challenges to earn Revel Rubies. These rubies can be spent on cosmetics, housing items, Gloomstone, or a Frostspawn Hatchling pet.
The Awakening system has been added to Wayfinder, giving players another avenue to power up their Wayfinders. Each time you craft a Wayfinder of weapon you already have unlocked you'll earn an Awakened Level. The current cap will be 3, and each level up will take more resources than the last.
Senja has also received a revamp, with changes to the Showboat passive and Pummel ability. Senja also has a brand new ultimate called Thunderous Glory.
From here the patch notes go heavy into balance changes and improvements to the game, so you can read those notes on the official site. You might want to grab some popcorn before hitting that link. Those patch notes are long.
Here's a shiny new trailer for you highlighting some of the changes and updates to Wayfinder in update 0.2. Enjoy!
