Wayfinder’s Next Update Includes Its First Ever Live Event And A Fight With The Highlands Fire Lord
Call of the Void arrives in October.
While we don’t have an exact date yet, we know that Wayfinder’s mid-season update will arrive in October. When this update drops, it will introduce new content including the game’s first live event, “Call of the Void”. During this event, players are called to unravel the mystery of strange rifts appearing in the Highlands. They’ll need to explore the rifts in question, but – of course – they’ll be rewarded for it.
The event will introduce two new quests. One will require players to take on the Highlands Fire Lord while the other has players exploring mines and fighting a massive weapon known as the Drill Machine. Exploring new dungeons will earn players rewards like a deadly-looking mace named “Juggernaut” and players will be rewarded for completing the event with a new Gloom Dagger skin.
The update will also include quite a few quality-of-life changes. The full list is available on the Wayfinder site.
