Throne And Liberty Announces The Frozen Divide: Nix Update
The new chapter is the game’s biggest expansion so far.

On June 25, the biggest expansion to date will arrive in Throne and Liberty. It takes players out of Solisium to the frozen lands of Nix, where the Red Fog is spreading, and the region is under threat from hidden forces. While progressing through the new region, players will not only have to deal with the cold and ice, but also investigate the plots of the Sylavean Order and the Arkeum Legion. Luckily, they’ll be able to get some help by joining the Resistance.
In addition to the story, the region also introduces new open-world gameplay to the free-to-play MMORPG, intended to reward players for exploring. To aid in travel, players will gain access to new mechanics that will allow them to traverse the landscape vertically as well as horizontally. That includes gliding.
A new weapon will be introduced in The Frozen Divide: Nix as well. If you like getting up close and personal, then the Gauntlets are for you. The introduction of these weapons combines different fighting styles into a Tank/DPS hybrid. Players can expect several new challenges as well, including two new co-op dungeons. More details on the update are available in the post on the Throne and Liberty site.
