Stock up on snacks and ask for time off because Phantasy Star Online 2’s open beta start date has been announced, and it’s closer than you might have thought. According to a very recent tweet from the PSO2 account, players can expect to log into the beta test on Xbox One March 17th at 5 PM Pacific.

That’s right, you have a little over a week to get everything settled before you disappear into the online ARPG and no one ever hears from you again.
For those wondering about what the test will entail… you’re going to have to wait a bit longer to find that out. According to the official tweets, the news will be available on the official site. That said, at the moment, the most recent thing is a roundup on the closed beta test. But, something should be available soon. So, you’ll either want to keep an eye on the site or at least on the PSO2 Twitter account.
Pc game on consol exclusive. What a shame
It will be out on PC this year, too, just not at the same time as the console release.
