Winter Veil Returns To Heroes Of The Storm
Here we go again. The Winter Veil holiday event is returning to Blizzard's free-to-play MOBA, Heroes of the Storm. This year, the event will run from December 14 to January 4 and will offer a few rewards -- and of course sale items -- to players.
First: The rewards. Players will be given a special event quest that requires them to complete 25 games (not including the Heroes Brawl mode) in order to earn a Special Snowflake portrait and permanent access to the Festive Treasure Goblin Mount. In addition, all players will earn 25% bonus XP following each game during the event.
Now, as for the shop items... There are two bundles this year, and they are as follows:
Winter Veil 2016 Bundle:
- Special Snowflake Mount
- Lunara
- Winter Veil Lunara Skin
- Nazeebo
- Gingerdread Nazeebo Skin
Winter Veil Classic Bundle:
- Stitches
- Greatfather Winter Stitches Skin
- Sylvanas
- Sugar Plum Sylvanas Skin
- Jaina
- Winter Veil Jaina Skin
- Rehgar
- Great-father Winter Rehgar Skin
- Reign-Deer Mount
As Winter Veil draws closer, players can expect a new Brawl to be introduced as well. Information on this will be available on the Heroes site at a later date.
