Wolcen Studio Charts The Course To Closed Test 2 With A New Roadmap For ExtrAction RPG Project Pantheon
Closed Test 2 signups will open soon and the development between now and then will be combat-focused.
Closed testing continues for "ExtrAction RPG" "Project Pantheon." If this is the first time you're hearing about the game from Wolcen Studio, you may want to take a look at our preview from last month. We still have quite some time before most players will get their hands on the game and its isometric, MOBA-like view and control scheme. However, Closed Test 1 is underway and has seen over 1,000 players and 2,100 successful extractions. That seems like a good start.
Closed Test 2 won't kick off until spring of this year, but we can get a look at what changes to expect between now and then thanks to a new roadmap. The changes mostly revolve around the game's combat. Test 2 will see a new staff weapon, the ability to dodge roll, refined movement and camera controls, a new enemy faction, the launch of the player Sanctuary (kind of your home base), and more bug fixing and balancing all centered around combat.
If you do happen to get into tests, Closed Test 2 will also include a tutorial to get you up to speed. Signups for test 2 will open soon on the official site with test 3 and 4 already slated for later this year.
