World Of Tanks Is Adding Random Events That Can Change The Landscape Of Some Maps
The World of Tanks just became more dynamic.
Today World of Tanks introduced the world to a new gameplay feature called Random Events. These dynamic events can happen on the Himmelsdorf, Ruinberg, Prokhorovka, and Safe Haven maps. Event zones will be marked by red smoke and players will receive a notification when crossing the border of a Random Event. Each event will alter the terrain of the battlefield and offer new tactical opportunities to World of Tanks players.
On the Safe Haven map, a plane can crash into the bunker's roof, collapsing the structure. On Himmerlsdorf, an air strike can hit the locomotive as it's leaving the train station. On Prokhorovka, planes crash into the alley, scorching some of the bushes and creating new cover. Ruinberg can be attacked with an air strike that opens an additional passage through the center of town.
Random Events are coming to the strategy game when update 1.23 launches.
