World Of Warcraft’s 18th-Anniversary Event Begins On November 6
Players who need an experience boost, this post is for you.
World of Warcraft’s momentous 18th-anniversary event is starting on November 6 and will last until the 27–the day before WoW’s latest expansion, Dragonflight, releases. While World of Warcraft’s anniversary is technically on November 23, due to Dragonflight's launch, these new dates are far better suited and will allow players ample time to enjoy all the rewards before they jump into their next adventure on Dragon Isles.
WoW Players can expect daily quests, mounts, companions, and some old vanilla bosses. This year's anniversary will also give players an 18% increase in experience gain. Then, the Shadowlands Winds of Wisdom event will continue until November 15, giving players a 50% boost to experience. Lastly, the Darkmoon Faire from November 6 until the 12 will give players an additional experience buff of 10%. Add all this up and players who plan their dates properly can expect a 78% increase in their experience gain.
This date change was spotted by Tyrsenus on World of Warcraft's subreddit. The user also put together a handy guide on how players might make the most out of the upcoming week to level up their alt characters or bring their old characters up to speed for Dragonflight.
Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company – and performed some himself – and shielded the perpetrators from consequences.
