You Still Have Time To Transfer Your Rift Characters Thanks To An Extension
If you thought you missed the deadline, you didn’t.

Today, Rift players were supposed to have their characters packed up and moved to the new servers they would be calling home once the MMORPG’s servers are merged. If someone hasn’t already done that and thought they might be screwed, there’s good news. Gamigo has extended the deadline to April 1, giving players an extra five days to make the move.
The news was shared on Rift’s Discord (discovered by MassivelyOP) and reads: “We wish to inform you that the transfer period proceeding the NA Shard merge has been extended to April 1 st, 2024. This extension is in response to a significant number of requests from fellow Ascended players who require additional time to transfer to their preferred shard.” Hopefully, the extra five days is enough time for everyone.
On an additional note, Rift players also have a chance to win 3,000 Credits just for participating in a water-themed quiz. This is the Rift team’s way of celebrating World Water Day. They can be found on the game’s site. It’s an Office form. Note that you’ll need to input your character name, Shard, and region at the end if you want a chance to at those Credits.
