A Share Of $25,000 Is On The Line In Kingslayer’s Fortnite Tournament ‘The Sabotage Games’
The money will be broken out across five different matches.
If you have nothing to do this weekend, still use Facebook, and would like to watch some folks try to win some cash via video games, you might want to check out The Sabotage Games, a Fortnite event hosted by Amaya.tv and Facebook influencer Kingslayer. The tournament takes place this Friday, November 19, beginning at 11 am Pacific. The runtime is kind of up in the air because it’s a “last man standing” kind of deal, but as mentioned, there’s money to be had…part of a $25,000 prize pool.
It should be noted that the tournament is broken up into five matches and the cash is broken up to match, so each match has a $5000 pool to work with – that’s $3000 for First Place, $1,500 for Second, and $500 for Third. Placing is determined by points acquired from elimination and placement, with each elimination being worth a point. First, Second, and Third place require 10, 9, and 8 points respectively, at least according to the press release. I’m sure that if no one in a match hits the 10 point mark, someone will still be declared the winner.
Another thing to note on the announcement for this event is that scores from one match do not carry over into another. Each has its own scoring and prizes. This seems to indicate that players can participate in multiple matches, (and have a chance at winning even more money.) If you’re curious about who will be participating, a full list is available on Kingslayer’s Facebook page.
