Aion Classic’s First Action Mage Class, Luminess, Will Arrive In The 4.0 Update

On June 17, NCSoft will be releasing the next big update for Aion Classic. Aion 4.0 will bring a level cap increase to the MMORPG, as well as in-game activities celebrating the 4th anniversary of Aion Classic. This update also introduces the game’s next class, ‘Luminess’. A caster class, Luminess provides support for allies while also stopping the enemy in their tracks using abilities that can blind, stun, paralyze, and slow them down.

Another addition included in the 4.0 update is a “choose your own adventure” dungeon, the Fortress of Determination. This dungeon can be played as a timed boss fight, with the clock starting when they meet the first boss, and extra time being earned by eliminating mobs. It can also be played as a timed run that offers players better rewards for completing it quickly. The dungeon also features dynamic seasonal bosses, so players won’t be doing the exact same thing every time.
