Albion Online’s Abyssal Depths Content Update Will Introduce A New PvP Experience For Players
It will also bring a reworked new player experience.
On June 30, Sandbox Interactive will drop the next Albion Online content update titled Abyssal Depths. This update introduces a new PvP dungeon to the F2P MMORPG: The Depths. Taking place in Albion's underground aqueducts, The Depths forces players to fight both mobs and each other in order to earn loot and buffs. They will be trapped there for a period before the exit is revealed. Once it is, players can choose to leave or keep going to earn more rewards.
To enter The Depths, players will need to go via the Antiquarian’s Den. This is a new staging ground that also offers players access to the Corrupted Dungeons and Hellgates. It’s also home to a mysterious merchant who may not have your best interests in mind, the Antiquarian.
As for the rest of the update, quality-of-life changes are being made. Specifically, the devs have reworked the new player experience. With these changes, things should be more accessible and understandable for the newbies, helping them to get rolling alongside everyone else.
