Aliens: Fireteam Elite's New Story Content Is Set To Release On August 30
A mysterious Pathogen has evolved in the wilds of planet LV-895
Aliens: Fireteam Elite's new expansion, Pathogen, will launch on August 30th, bringing with it new enemies, an all-new campaign, new environments, maps, and weapons.
The new expansion’s campaign will feature three exclusive story missions. Players will fight through caustic new enemies and across deadly new environments with nothing but an armory packed with tools and cosmetics. The Pathogen expansion will be available for purchase on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Steam. Please note, players will already need to own a copy of Aliens: Fireteam Elite on the same platform in order to play the new content.
Alongside the Pathogen expansion, Cold Iron Studios also revealed plans for a free update for all Aliens: Fireteam Elite owners that incorporates a new Hardcore mode. This mode will be released at the same time as Pathogen. Players that are eagerly awaiting crossplay only have to wait a little longer, as crossplay will arrive in a separate update in July.
