Blade & Soul Players Won't See The "Windwalking Race" Event In Upcoming Patch Due To "Technical Issues"
A cool feature event to bring together players in a aerial-focused race will have to wait.
NCSoft is prepped to release the "Symphony of Destruction" update for Blade & Soul on October 12 with a slew of brand-new additions, mainly the support/DPS hybrid Musician class and mounts, but will have to delay the "Windwalking Race" event due to "technical issues." The devs relayed the news to fans via Twitter, which didn't provide a follow-up release date and dive into what problems were influencing the setback.
Whenever it launches, the Windwalking Race event is supposed to bring players together for a friendly or heated aerial-based relay across the skies. There are not many specifics revealed about it outside of its premise, though. Regardless, NCSoft announced earlier that the event should come out "at a later date" and will keep players updated on further news.
Unfortunately, due to technical issues, we will not be able to release the Windwalking Race with the Symphony of Destruction update. It will be released at a later date, and we’ll keep you updated!

In the meantime, fans can join in the "Become The Musician Sweepstakes" event lasting until October 13. It will be a rather unique in-game, out-of-game experience where players will record themselves composing a score with footage of the anticipated Musician class playing their harp inside the game. That may all sound confusing, but we reported what you need to do to get started and the neat rewards for winners.
Symphony of Destruction is still in motion to release on October 12. Will you be playing the update on launch? Let us know below!
