Blade & Soul Musician Contest

On October 12, Blade & Soul will be launching the Symphony of Destruction update adding a whole, new musical class to the game: The Musician. This class does pretty much what you’d expect it to, use music, specifically harp music, in combat. They are not a pure healer class and can, in fact, use their music to the detriment of others, but they can also provide support for allies when needed.

With the release of the new class around the corner, NCSoft has decided to host a special sweepstakes for players – the "Become the Musician Sweepstakes." This event is underway and will last until October 13. During this time, players have the opportunity to win both real-world and video game prizes, including a Zither.

How do you win? Well, first you need to be a legal resident of the US, Canada, Austria, Finland, France, Germany, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, or the UK. Then, you post a video of yourself creating your own melody and using it for a Blade & Soul-themed music video using the video below. This will be an in-game, out-of-game project as you’ll need to record yourself composing the music in the real world and then apply it to footage captured in Blade & Soul.

At the end of the contest, twelve players will be chosen to receive prizes. The Grand Prize Winner will receive a Zither instrument valued at $180 USD and one class change voucher valued at $100. First Prize will be a music box kit valued at $23 USD and the class change voucher. There will be ten Second Prize winners, each receiving 1000 NCoin worth $12.50 USD). Details on how to participate – including all those fine print rule things – can be found on the Blade & Soul site.

"At the end of the contest, twelve players will be chosen to receive prizes."

So the entire player base will be getting prizes, that's nice.
