Blizzard Confirms Chromie Time Rescaling In Dragonflight
Bugs on the Dragonflight Beta should also be fixed shortly.
Blizzard has recently clarified that they will in fact not be doing a stat squish in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, but instead are only working on how Chromie Time scales. The goal is for player-characters who are at level 60 to log in at level 60 in Dragonflight with the same item level and approximately the same stats as they had before.
Chromie Time will now stretch from levels 10-60 to allow players to choose which expansion they’d like to level in and they can then stick with that all the way to Dragonflight if they so choose. To do this successfully, Blizzard will need to change some iLvls within that range to make it as smooth an experience as possible.
Blizzard has also planned to fix up the bugs on the Dragonflight Beta and the PTR such as a player’s heirlooms.
Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company – and performed some himself – and shielded the perpetrators from consequences.
