Blue Protocol Boasting A Strong Launch In Japan, Surpassing 600,000 Players Already
Bandai Namco says the number of players is still growing.
We may still be stuck waiting on Blue Protocol to launch in the West, but it seems like players in Japan are enjoying it. According to a press release from the MMORPG's developer, the game already boasts more than 600,000 players since its launch on June 14 and it continues to grow. The press release also notes that the number of concurrent players in the game is more than 200,000. This is all good news for Bandai Namco as it means Blue Protocol is exceeding the performance of their other games, hitting those milestones faster than any other game in the company’s history.
Of course, some of those players may actually be Western players who didn’t want to wait for the game’s launch in 2024. There have definitely been those who have mentioned doing so.
In additional news, the developers have dropped a play guide regarding how players should behave in-game. It also addresses things like third-party tools.
