Blue Protocol Is Getting A New Lease On Life As Blue Protocol: Star Resonance

Following the cancellation of Blue Protocol, players might have assumed they’d never hear about that game again – or, more accurately, only hear about it in “what went wrong” type videos on YouTube. While we’ll probably still see those videos, that’s not the only place you’ll be hearing the name in the future. As it turns out, the IP is getting a new lease on life via A PLUS as Blue Protocol: Star Resonance.

It’s important to note that this won’t be exactly the same game. It’s been described as a “spin-off featuring some reworked elements”. That said, the setting is the same, as is the art style. The game features a full class system with abilities and weapons specific to those classes. Players will also be able to take part in the activities that make an MMORPG an MMORPG, such a guilds, trading, and raids. There are more casual elements as well. So, prepare your fishing gear.

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is slated to arrive later in the year. In the meantime, players can wishlist the game on Steam or the Epic Games Store. It will also be available on mobile devices. And yes, cross-play will be available.
