Blue Protocol: Star Resonance’s Season 2 Update Drops Next Week
Prepare for the next step of the journey by participating in the game’s current event.

If you’ve been away from Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, you may have missed the fact that an event is currently underway and has been for about a week. The “Prelude to Crimson” is the MMORPG’s warmup for Season 2, which is slated to drop on January 15. It has players unlocking clues to find and reunite with Airona as well as traveling to the Land of Crimson Illusion, where they will fight against the void and earn rewards for their efforts.
As mentioned, this event is intended to set things up for Season 2, titled “Dreambloom – Echoes of Lost Nightmares,” which kicks off January 15. The update will take players to an all-new region, the Bahamar Highlands and the Garrison Outpost. Of course, it won’t just be a simple trip, as can be seen in the trailer below.
Word of caution: the trailer is in Japanese with subtitles, so YouTube, in its infinite wisdom, may have the AI auto-translate turned on. It’s not great. If you’d rather avoid that, change the language setting before hitting play.
