Blue Protocol: Star Resonance Celebrates Halloween With Exclusive Rewards And Themed Costumes

Players can collect candy, earn special prizes, and show off new Halloween-inspired outfits.

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is celebrating Halloween. The free-to-play MMORPG invites players to embrace the spooky season with exclusive rewards, costumes, and themed festivities. This event begins on October 30.

Trickster’s Candy Jar runs from October 30 at 10 AM (UTC) to November 10 at 5 PM (UTC-2). During this time, players can visit the Pumpkin Candy Jar at the Pioneer Bureau each day to collect “Mischief Candy” and a Toy. These candies can then be exchanged at the jar for a variety of special Halloween-themed rewards.

Nocturne Wardrobe runs from October 30 at 10 AM (UTC) until December 1 at 5 AM (UTC). This part of the event focuses on fashion and style, featuring brand-new Halloween-themed costumes. Players can choose from a selection of outfits to create their own festive look.

I've seen some greedy MMORPGS, but this is the first I've seen to make Halloween almost fully cash shop. ALL outfits and weapon skins are cash shop items that can only be acquired with real money. The only items that can be earned in-game are some lame trinkets that they probably didn't think anyone would pay cash for. The only good thing is that this is a very rare occurence where you actually know exactly how much cash you have to pay, like for example, a single weapon skin for one character (not account-wide) is $13, and it's on a 60% sale. What a bargain. Apparently on any other Halloween it would cost over $30 for one weapon skin on one character, but this Halloween is special.
