Bugcat Capoo Invades MapleStory In The Latest Crossover Event
Take the six-legged monster cat on a tour through Maple World and earn prizes and buffs.
It’s crossover time in MapleStory! This time, players can hang out with Bugcat Capoo, the six-legged creature that’s kinda a cat, kinda a bug, and all about having meat for dinner. Popular with online comic fans, the creation of Taiwanese artist Yara is making its way to Maple World as an explorer and is going to need someone to show them around. Enter, the players.
During the event, which runs until November 2, players can guide Capoo around and participate in quests that will teach him about Maple World’s various creatures – including showing him which are best to eat. Completing these quests will earn players 2x EXP coupons and Bugcat Capoo affection. The affection is important because it will help him increase in strength and he’ll provide buffs for your character and additional rewards.
To take part in the event, players will need to pick up the quest from Cassandra via the Star Event Notifier.
If you’d like to keep Capoo around after the event ends, there is a way – the Cash Shop. Players can pick up the Surprise Style Box containing all kinds of Catbug Capoo themed items, like Capoo hats or muscle Bugcat Capoos. If you’d rather mounts and the like, then you’ll want to look at the Gachapon Items.
