Crusader Kings II Free On Steam Until Saturday Morning
Paradox Interactive's Crusader Kings II is one of the most-loved grand strategy simulation games ever. It's spawned a huge community of medieval conqueror-wannabes, as well as mods covering everything from The Elder Scrolls to Warcraft to Middle-earth to Game of Thrones. It's a pretty big deal, and for a limited time, you can get it for free.
Just head over to the Crusader Kings II page on Steam before 10 a.m. Pacific time on Saturday and install the game, and it's yours to keep forever. Additionally, all DLC for the game -- and there's a lot of it -- is on sale, most of it for 50% off. That said, Paradox runs sales pretty regularly, so trying the game for free now and buying DLC later is also an option for the budget-conscious gamer.
Now, get out there and conquer, assassinate, or marry your enemies!
