Destiny 2 Livestream Highlights Content Coming In Heresy Act I
The stream also revealed a Star Wars collaboration.
Destiny 2’s next big update, Heresy Act I, is scheduled to launch in just a week on February 4. Today, the dev team offered players insight into the new content during a livestream on Twitch, during which the narrative team teased the return of the Hive ship from the original Destiny, The Dreadnaught. The update will also have players encountering old friends and discovering a new Echo.
Players looking for something completely new to do will be happy to know a new activity named “The Nether” is being introduced. Of course, there will be new weapons and gear, as well as the introduction of the Sundered Doctrine Dungeon Race slated for February 7.
The livestream also featured a surprise reveal – the shooter’s next collaboration. With the drop of Heresy, players will also be able to pick up new Star Wars-inspired items as part of the Lucasfilm Games collaboration. This includes new armor ornaments inspired by the troopers and royal guards of the Galactic Empire.
