Cooking or Dungeon Diving? Enjoy A Couple Of Completely Different Events In Aion Online And Aion Classic
Prepare meal kits to earn rewards or head to the dungeons and beat up bosses for bonuses.
If you play Aion Online or Aion Classic (or both), there's a little something going on in your game(s) right now. Both games kicked off events yesterday that will last until April 6, but the events are pretty different.
Aion Online's event seems a bit more chill, at least on the surface. It's the Apsaranta Meal Kit Event. During this event, players purchase an Apsaranta Cooler from Berry, which they can combine with Red Fruits in order to create a meal kit. Here are the catches: First, the cooler is going to cost players 1,500,000 Kinah (and tax, apparently). Second, in order to obtain the fruit, you'll need to hunt down monsters that drop the fruit in question. If you're lucky, you may even get a monster to drop Golden Fruit. The fruits are also rewarded for completing certain Lugbug missions.
Combining Red Fruit with a cooler will result in a Simple Meal Kit. Doing the same with Golden Fruit results in a Fancy Meal Kit. Both can be opened to obtain various items – all of which are detailed on the event page. It is worth noting that coolers, the fruit, and the meal kits created combining them will be deleted on April 13, so be sure to use everything before that happens.
While the Apsaranta Meal Kit Event is going on in Aion Online, Aion Classic is offering players rewards for participating in the Dungeon Delve Event. This event is slated to run until April 6 as well and during that time players will be able to earn all kinds of rewards for taking on specific dungeons. To give players a real chance to earn the items in question, the devs have even removed some of the requirements players generally need to meet to access them. This means that players won't need to kill the four aides to get Bakarma to spawn in Draupnir Cave and a key won’t be required to get into the boss room in Theobomos Lab – among other things.
All total, there are seven dungeons players can explore during this event in the hopes of earning special bonus drops. For those wondering, the drops in question include a Godstone Bundle, the Happy Enchantment Stone Bundle, the Brigade General’s Relic Bundle, and 1000 Stigma Shards. Again, none of these are guaranteed, but there are seven possible dungeons to obtain them in with one dungeon having two chances to drop items based on the two bosses having their own set of drops.
